![]() ![]() Debating aside, it’s incredibly unlikely that this is the last Hellmuth entrance we’ll see. In Negreanu’s WSOP Paradise vlog posted today, he and Hellmuth address the complaints directly to the camera. The debate rages on today and likely will continue through the next few days. Haxton, further down the thread, points out that the $100,000 Ultra High Roller he was partaking in didn’t pause the tournament clock for Hellmuth’s entrance. There’s something to be said, however, for interrupting on-going tournaments. It’s fun, it’s kooky, it’s a little silly, sure, but mostly harmless. ![]() Whether you fall to one side or the other, it’s hard to argue that Hellmuth’s showmanship adds a little bit of razzle-dazzle to what is otherwise not much of a spectator sport (livestreams aside). I still have a headache 40 minutes later. The 100k at least paused for most of it but ME players had to play through it. Does anyone actually like this shit? If I’m in the minority I’ll just concede that this is fun for most people and I don’t get it, but I don’t think I am. ![]()
